Former Cowgirl named All-American

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com The honors seem to continue to mount for former Cowgirl Halie Wetherington as she continues her softball and academic career at the University of West Florida (UWF), in Pensacola, Fla. Wetherington was recently named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association’s (NFCA) All-America Scholar list. The list recognizes those softball players with the highest grade point averages in the nation. Wetherington joins six of her teammates on the list.
