Mrs. Frances Tomlin Smith Cason, age 75, died Saturday, May 20 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 23 at 2 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, Madison Chapel with burial at Cherry Lake Baptist Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday, May 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, Madison Chapel.
Cason was born on Jan. 15, 1942 to Amos Deforest Tomlin and Amanda (Dolly) Tomlin of Quincy, Fl. She was a homemaker and a member of Cherry Lake First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Kristina Lynn Smith Anderson of Cherry Lake, Fl.; son, James Alvin Smith (Laverne) of Cherry Lake, Fl.; brother, Amos “Buddy” (Barbara) Tomlin of Macclenny, Fl.; two sisters, Judy Hart of Rome, Ga. and Louise Mayfield of Woodville, Fl.: four grandchildren: James Allen Smith, Brandon Buchanan (Emily), Tabatha Lynn Anderson, and Wil Buchanan; two great-grandchildren, Ariel Buchanan and Brandi Buchanan; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
