Madison County E.M.S. and SSTRIDE has teamed up to offer free “Hands-Only” CPR training to community members. Nine classes will be offered to the public over the next couple of months. The classes are available to students in the 6th grade up to adults. The first class will be Monday, Feb. 2 from 5:30-8 p.m., at North Florida Community College. This is open to 6th graders to adults. The second class will be Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 1 4:30 p.m., at Madison County Central School gym. This is open to students 6th-12th grade. The third class will be Monday, Feb 23 from 3:45-6 p.m., at Madison County High School library. This is open to 9th graders to adults. The fourth class will be Monday, March 2 from 3:45-6 p.m., at James Madison Preparatory High School Auditorium. This is open to 6th graders to adults. The fifth class will be Monday, March 23 from 3:45-6 p.m., at the Madison County High School library. This is open to 9th graders to adults. The sixth class will be Thursday, March 26 from 5:30-8 p.m., at North Florida Community College. This is open to 6th graders to adults. The seventh class will be Tuesday, April 7 from 5:30-8 p.m., at North Florida Community College. This is open to 6th graders to adults. The eighth class will be on Monday, April 20 from 3:45-6 p.m., at James Madison Preparatory High School Auditorium. This is open to 6th graders to adults. The ninth and final class will be Wednesday April 29 from 1-4:30 p.m., at Madison County Central School gym. This is open to students 6th-12th grade. Those who are interested in attending one of the nine available classes must register.
