The Madison County Courthouse will be the site of free heart screenings for anyone who wants one. On Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. there will be free cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose tests. Many aren't aware of current health conditions they might have or what needs to be managed. This is the time for people to come out and make sure they are healthy and to be more aware of their health. Many people have health problems that can lead to more severe problems. High blood pressure is known as the “Silent killer,” cholesterol can lead to heart disease if not managed properly and high glucose can damage vital organs and the blood supply. These three health problems may seem minor, but if it is not managed properly and taken care of, it can lead to death. The location of the courthouse is 125 SW Range Ave., in Madison.
