Are you planning on thinning, or harvesting your timber in the near future? Are you new to the forestry aspect of property ownership? Please join the Florida Forest Service for a workshop on “Timber Sale Basics.” This comprehensive workshop will include information on determining the right time to cut your timber, timber marking and the basics of conducting a timber sale. Reforestation cost-share opportunities will also be discussed. The workshop will be Friday, May 29 from 9 a.m. – noon at the Madison County Extension Office, located at 184 College Loop in Madison.
