Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Thursday the 5th day of February 2015 at approximately 4:00 PM the Madison County Sheriff’s Office received information from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office concerning the possibility of a felony fugitive of Manatee County Florida being in Madison County.
A consolidated effort between the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement resulted in the confirmation that the fugitive was currently in Madison County. The fugitive was located within a residence at 766 York Avenue in Greenville Florida and was accompanied by two acquaintances. These acquaintances cooperated with authorities and exited the residence upon request and it was determined that they had no knowledge of the fugitives criminal activity. It was further determined that several firearms were also inside the residence.
The Leon County Sheriff’s Office deployed a Hostage Negotiation and Tactical Team and the fugitive refused to cooperate and exit the residence. Additional tactical surveillance and extraction measures were taken and the fugitive was retrieved from the residence at approximately 1:00 AM on the early hours of February 6th, 2015 without further incident.
Sheriff Stewart applauds the assistance and support of the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
The fugitive was identified as the following:

Arrested on 2 out of county warrants for Aggravated Stalking and Aggravated Stalking after Domestic Violence Injunction.
