It was a nearly perfect day for some seasonal fall fun on Friday, Oct. 30, as Pinetta Elementary School (PES) held their annual fall festival. Many kids took the opportunity to show off their new Halloween outfits and costumes as they enjoyed activities such as a cupcake walk, a super-slide, a dunking booth, a petting zoo and much more.
The event is sponsored each year by the PES Parent Teacher Organization. It is used as a fundraiser for various projects to benefit the students and staff at PES. PES would like to say a very special “thank you” to the sponsors and everyone who made this year's Fall Festival a success: Mrs. Leslie's Cakes, Carol Gibson – Madison County School Board member, Madison Veterinary Clinic, Pic-n-Sav, Odiorne Insurance, Uphold's Feed, Southern Grace Gifts, Farm Bureau-Madison, Wallace Bug Busters, J + J Strong - Johnson and Johnson Transport Inc., Texas Roadhouse of Valdosta, Winn Dixie of Madison and Lake Park, Creatures Featured, Madison Florist, Madison Antiques Market and Interiors, Fishing Tackle Outlet, Hall's Tire and Muffler, Genesis Timber, Supt.
