On Tuesday, Nov. 8, Greenville Elementary School held the annual Tropicana Public Speaking Program school-wide competition. The top six students from each fourth and fifth grade class competed for the coveted first, second, and third place ribbons.
After a hard-fought battle, three students from each class took home the prize. In fourth grade, Hafitha Ayyad won third place, Hisham Ayyad received second place, and Zakaria Scott took first place. In fifth grade, Eligah Ward won third place, Asia Fead brought home second place, and Ja’Niyah Mcknight was honored with first place.
Greenville Elementary School staff and faculty are proud of their students’ accomplishments throughout the entire Tropicana competition: from classroom, to district!
