North Florida Community College (NFCC) is providing an opportunity for students enrolling in NFCC classes this Fall to get a jumpstart on the essential skills necessary to succeed in their courses. Jumpstart offers free study skills, strategies, and academic review sessions for students preparing to enroll in ENC 1101 (Freshman English I), MAT 1033 (Intermediate Algebra), STA 2023 (Statistics) and/or any science course. Additionally, students can use this opportunity to learn strategies for using NFCC technology effectively.
Jumpstart sessions are held on the NFCC campus in Madison. Five unique sessions are available, each with two different date/time options. Technology and science sessions are being held Monday, July 31, and Tuesday, Aug. 1, with English and math sessions set for Wednesday, Aug. 2 and Thursday, Aug. 3. Sessions are free for students who are registered to take classes during NFCC’s Fall Term 2017.
