Gov. DeSantis to call for a special session related to potential Trump deportations

Ron DeSantis said he is calling a special session of the Legislature to require local governments to enforce potential deportations of undocumented migrants if called for by President-elect Donald Trump. The special session, starting Monday, Jan. 27, will also deal with the state's ballot initiative process, hurricane relief, election integrity, condominium regulation and other issues.
