Greenville community-wide Easter egg hunt is April 4

Greenville Baptist Church has partnered with Rick Lane's Amazing Horse Ministries to put on a community-wide Easter egg hunt in Haffye Hays Park. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Aside from the hunt, there will be horseback rides, games, prizes, bounce houses, face-painting and food, free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. The event serves as a way for GBC, along with Amazing Horse Ministries, to minister to the community and show Christ's love. In addition to the festivities, Pastor Rick Lane will use a round pen to share the God-given purpose of a horse and mankind and exactly how to accomplish that purpose. Perhaps those in attendance will learn that Easter is about much more than eggs and chocolate bunnies.
