Any and all area bakers are encouraged to show off their baking skills in the bake-off as part of the 31st Annual Greenville Country Christmas on Friday, Dec. 9, at 5 p.m., at the Greenville/Madison multi purpose Center. The multi purpose center can be found at 166 SW Onslow St., in Greenville.
Baked goods must be dropped off at 4 p.m. and judging will begin at 5 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded. Adults (age 18 and up) may enter cakes, pies or breads. First place in the adult category will win $50, second place will take home $20, and third place will receive $10. Youth (age 12-17) may enter cookies and candies. First place in the youth category will receive $20, second place will be awarded $10, and the third place prize will be $5.
