Greenville man arrested in Jefferson County

Laura Young news@greenepublishing.com David Michael Gavin of Greenville, Fla., born June 22, 1983, was charged in Jefferson County with Forgery, Grand Theft and Uttering (filed Sept. 5, 2017). On Dec. 9, 2024, Gavin pled no contest to the charges and was found guilty by Judge Robert Plaines in Circuit Court at the Jefferson County Courthouse. The Criminal Punishment Code Scoresheet indicates that Gavin had six previous felonies, including Bank Fraud, Grand Theft and Uttering. Gavin was senten
