The Hamburg-Lovett Fire Department held its annual peanut boil on Saturday, Sept. 10.
All attendees enjoyed a dinner of chicken and rice, hamburgers, or hotdogs. All-you-could-eat peanuts were available while enjoying the festivities and everyone could purchase quart and gallon bags of boiled peanuts to take home.
The event’s proceeds benefited the Hamburg-Lovett Fire Department, in order to help support operations and purchase more equipment for the department.
