Anna Harbin happily sits with her father, David Harbin, while awaiting her first release from the hospital in two months. Harbin got to enjoy a weekend at home before returning Sunday, Feb. 18 for more intense rehab.
Since we last reported on Friday, Jan. 26, Anna Harbin, the granddaughter of Gayle and the late Wayne Walker, has continued to make giant steps of progress from the Dec. 16 auto accident that resulted in numerous broken bones, a collapsed lung, and severe head injuries. Harbin is now talking in complete sentences and has been walking the halls as part of her physical therapy at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, in Atlanta. “She has been released to day rehab in Atlanta, which is awesome. Her spirits are good, and [use of] the right hand is slowly coming back,” said Harbin's mother, Jayne Harbin. “God has worked another miracle, and she is living proof of it.”
