It is time to celebrate the retirement of Madison County's Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Tim Sanders. His retirement is a huge milestone that should be celebrated and acknowledged for his faithful service to this community. Everyone is invited to attend the celebration which will be held at the Madison County Courthouse, located at 125 SW Range Ave., on Friday, Dec. 16, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Sanders was elected as Madison County's Clerk of Court in 1992 and has served Madison County faithfully ever since. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he serves on the Board of Trustees. Additionally, he serves on the following boards of directors: Madison County Foundation for Excellence in Education, Inc., Big Bend Hospice, Inc., and the Treasures of Madison County. Additionally, he has put smiles on the faces of many elementary school children in Madison County and surrounding counties with his storytelling, while dressed as Johnny Appleseed.
