Sometimes, there can be tropical cyclone activity before or after these dates, but generally this window is when most of us in the Atlantic basin can expect to experience the worst of the year's storms. With three major hurricanes already having wreaked havoc on the North Florida area this season, some homeowners may not be completely aware of hidden hurricane damage.
