Despite the technical loss, MCHS Tennis Coach Brigitte Gudz says she is highly impressed with her teams.
“The girls team consists of three sophomores and three freshmen, and none of them played in the top five last year,” she reveals. “They have very little experience. I have seen much improvement from last year for our sophomore vets and the freshman are picking up the game quickly.”
Of the boys, she adds, “The boys are also young, with only two having just one year of experience and the others no experience. The boys are quickly learning the game. I am very impressed with their new skills and am confident they will continue to challenge themselves to become better players.”
As the tennis season continues, Madison looks forward to seeing their Cowboys and Cowgirls improve with each and every match!
