USAF Lieutenant Colonel James Hilton Gillis, 75. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on November 23. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jackie Beverly Gillis; daughters: Christy Gillis, Sterling Gillis, Jaime Gillis Carter and Suzy Gillis Zahorik and nine grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made in James' name to the National Rifle Association. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m. at Goose Pasture Trail on Lake Lamonia, Tallahassee, Fl.
