Mrs. Janet Boothe Kent, age 63, of Blountstown, Fl. passed away early Saturday morning, April 2 at her home.
Janet was born on April 14, 1952 in Valdosta, Ga. She is a native of Greenville and lived there for 26 years. She lived in Blountstown since 1978 after coming from Aucilla. Janet was a hairdresser and retired after 45 years of service. She was of the Baptist Faith. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, William Alvin Boothe and Lois (Walden) Boothe of Greenville.
Survivors include, one son, Anthony Burnley of Blountstown; two daughters, Alisa Ethridge (Jerry) of Madison, Fl. and Crystal Davidov (Isaac) of Blountstown; one brother, Alvin Darvin Boothe (Christine) of Orlando; five grandchildren: Casey, Courtney, Cassidy, Khamari and Sa’Kel and one great-grandchild, Axel.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 5 at 11 a.m. (CDT) at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dwayne Tolbert officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville at 3 p.m. (CDT).
The family received friends on Tuesday, April 5 from 10 a.m. (CDT) until service time at 11 a.m. (CDT) at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel.
All arrangements were under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
