Madison County Communications received a report of a crash with injuries on U.S. Highway 90, six miles east of Lee, at approximately 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14.
Lee Volunteer Fire Department responded and had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate Ceira Sweat, from one of the two vehicles involved in the crash. Sweat was transported by Madison County E.M.S. to receive medical treatment. Madison County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control as both lanes of Hwy. 90 were closed.
