Madison native, JerriAnn Webb, has made quite the impact in her lifetime. Currently, she holds degrees in English, Theology and Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also the Founder and President of LightSpeaks and co-Founder of Light Breaks Through, both Christian companies that help bring the Word to others. Not only that, Webb has also published a top-selling children's book, “The Kingdom-A Children's Story of Identity and Inheritance.” Her second book will be released in November of this year, and it is anticipated to be just as good as the first, titled “The King in You.”
Webb has recently attended one of many conferences, where she shared her message about God to audiences from all over the country. The most recent conference was located in Burleson, Texas, but she travels the country speaking at churches and conferences, working to share God's Word. “To me, spreading the Word means living like Jesus,” said Webb, “I want people to look at my life, family, businesses and projects and say, 'The Kingdom of Heaven looks just like that!'” Webb has done well with her goal, with several people feeling inspired after listening to her speak.
When asked about what she would tell young authors wishing to follow in her footsteps, Webb replied, “It's okay to fail as long as you get back up. When you experience disappointment, get really good at giving all that disappointment to God. The Bible tells us to 'cast our cares,' but we have to do the casting.” She goes on to state how God fills us with hope, and to keep the right company to go along with that hope. “I intentionally surround myself with people full of hope because that's how I want to live.” She does well with living through God, by leaving a mark on everyone she meets and speaks to.
