Jimmy Harold Stokes, 81, passed away at 5:05 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, in Tallahassee, Fla. A military honors funeral will be held at Tallahassee National Cemetery, located at 5015 Apalachee Parkway, in Tallahassee, on Friday, Sept. 13, at 11:45 a.m. for family and friends. Jimmy was born on April 2, 1943, in Lee, Fla., to the late Frank and Effie Stokes. He served honorably, for 21 years, in the U.S. Air Force reaching the rank of Master Sergeant.
