The Miss Madison County and Baby to Junior Miss Madison County pageants were held this past Saturday, March 11, at the Van H. Priest Auditorium.
The Baby to Tiny Miss Madison County pageant kicked off at 10 a.m. and the Little to Junior Miss Madison County pageant kicked off at 1:30 p.m. Children, ages birth to 12 years old, took the stage and competed for the crowns in their respective divisions during these two pageants.
Jhade McKnight was crowned Baby Miss Madison County, for ages birth to 11 months of age. McKnight also won the prettiest hair and photogenic awards. O'Nisty Davis took first runner-up. Laila Williams was named second runner-up and won the awards of best attire, best stage presence and outfit of choice. Third runner-up and prettiest smile went to Reminisce Johnson.
Tylen Watkins was crowned Baby Mr. Madison County for young boys between the ages of 0-11 months. With his crown, Watkins also won best smile, best hair, best attire and best stage presence.
Gracelynn Bedford was crowned the new Infant Miss Madison County for ages 12 to 23 months old. Along with her title, she also won prettiest hair and best attire. Adeija Choice received first runner-up, along with best stage presence and prettiest smile. Quen'Nylah Solomon was given the award of second runner-up and outfit of choice. Charlie Floyd was named third runner-up, along with being named the photogenic winner.
Thomas Deland was crowned Infant Mr. Madison County for young boys between the ages of 12-23 months. With his crown, Deland also won best hair, best stage presence, best smile, best attire, photogenic and outfit of choice.
Evelyn Fox was crowned the new 2023 Tiny Miss Madison County for girls ages two to three years of age. Along with her title, Fox also won the special award of prettiest hair. Her court included: Calani Bell, first runner-up, prettiest smile and best attire; Chloe Persons, second runner-up and outfit of choice; Blayke Deming, third runner-up and best stage presence; Jewel Gallon, fourth runner-up; Kazleigh Taylor, Tiny Miss Princess and photogenic; and Braxtyn Tillman, Tiny Miss Princess.
Isabelle Ruzicka was crowned Little Miss Madison County. Along with her title, Ruzicka also won the individual awards of best stage presence and best attire. Her court included: Megan Mugge, first runner-up and prettiest hair; Lorelei Cooper, second runner-up; Olivia Osburn, third runner-up and prettiest smile; Emma Mobley, fourth runner-up, outfit of choice and photogenic; Nora Mae Myers, Little Miss Princess; McKinlee Beck, Little Miss Princess and Kataryna Bergstrom, Little Miss Princess.
Maisie Cotrell was crowned Young Miss Madison County for her age division of seven to nine year-olds. Along with the title, Cotrell also won prettiest smile and best attire. Her court included: Leah Rowe, first runner-up and best stage presence; Royal Gallon, second runner-up; Alonni Douglas, third runner-up; Sarai Gray, fourth runner-up and outfit of choice; Avery Hamrick, Young Miss Princess; Karina Clogston, Young Miss Princess; Bella Ortega, Young Miss Princess; Abby Ortega, Young Miss Princess and prettiest hair; Cassidy Ballenger, Young Miss Princess; and Ta'Tianna Thornton, Young Miss Princess and photogenic.
Chloe Dickinson was crowned Junior Miss Madison County, which consists of girls between the ages of 10 to 12 years old. Her court included: Emma Greene, first runner up; Presley Gillean, second runner-up; Bailie Bradfield, third runner-up; and Madison O'Neal, fourth runner-up. Special awards were presented to: Chloe Dickinson, best stage presence, best attire and outfit of choice; Emma Greene, prettiest smile; Presley Gillean, photogenic; and Madison O'Neal, prettiest hair.
Saturday evening, at 5:30 p.m., the Miss and Teen Miss Madison County Pageant got underway. The crowd enjoyed watching an opening number dance to the song, "Million Dollar Baby" and the competitions of talent, sportswear, casual wear and evening gown.
Tessa Williamson was crowned the new 2023 Teen Miss Madison County. Chosen as her court were: Belinda Albritton, first runner-up and Bethany Little, second runner-up. The special awards were awarded to: Tessa Williamson, prettiest hair, photogenic and Miss Congeniality; Belinda Albritton, best stage presence; and Bethany Little, prettiest smile, best attire and audience choice award ($229.20).
Caibre Johnson was crowned the new 2023 Miss Madison County. Chosen as her court were: Bailey Hackle, first runner-up; Olivia Galbraith, second runner-up; Mackenzi Bochnia, third runner-up and Bailie Vickers, fourth runner-up. Special awards were presented to: Caibre Johnson, talent, best interview, Miss Congeniality and a $500 scholarship to NFC; Bailey Hackle, best attire and audience choice award ($153); Olivia Galbraith, prettiest smile and photogenic; Mackenzi Bochnia, prettiest hair; and Bailie Vickers, best stage presence.
