Joseph Ivan Driggers, age 46, died on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 in Valdosta, Ga.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. at Beggs Funeral Home in Madison with interment at Corinth Cemetery in Hamilton County, Fl. Visitation was held on Sunday, Feb. 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home.
He was born in Madison, and had lived most of his life in Madison and Lowndes Counties. Joseph was a graduate of Madison County High School and Valdosta State University. His two daughters were the loves of his life. Along with spending time with them, he also enjoyed playing his guitar. He had the wonderful “gift of gab” and loved making people smile; he never met a stranger. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Madison.
Driggers is survived by his mother, Udean Williams; step-father, Eugene Williams; his daughters, Abbey Elaine Flint and Hailey Louise Flint of Valdosta, Ga.; one brother, Anthony Heath Driggers (Becky) of Madison; one sister, Heather Christina Davis (R.H.) of Ocala, Fl.; three step-brothers: Captain Harold Williams (Gina) of Virginia Beach, Va., Jayson Williams (Renae) of Madison, and Greg Williams (Tanya) of Madison. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
His father, Lavon Driggers, preceded him in death.
