Julian B. Thompson, Jr.

Julian B. Thompson, Jr., age 67 of Enterprise, Ala., passed away, Wednesday, February 4, at his home. The family received friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., on Sunday, February 8, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, The American Cancer Society or Enterprise Public Library. Julian graduated from Florala High School and Troy State University. He was an educator at Enterprise High School for 30 years and cherished the friendships he made along the way. He will be dearly missed by everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents: Julian Thompson, Sr. and Patricia Thompson; grandparents: J. P. and Ina Morrow, of Madison; and a sister, Gail Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Jo Thompson; son, Ben Thompson, both of Enterprise, Ala.; sister, Ina Thompson, of Madison; brother, Rick Thompson, of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren: Katie, Olivia, Ethan and Josie; a special friend, Ricky Adams.
