Julian Evans Brown, age 82, died Wednesday, April 22, at Lake Park of Madison, Madison, following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 12 p.m., Friday, April 24, at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, Fl. He was born and raised in Madison County in the Greenville area. He served in the United States Army. He also served on the Tri-County Electric Cooperative Board of Madison County. He was a member of Greenville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Clayton Brown; one daughter, Lisa Ann Page, Madison, Fl. He has two brothers: Neil Brown of Cherry Lake, Fl., and Johnny Brown of Atlanta, Ga. He had one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Maggie O’Neil Brown; also his brothers: Kenneth and Gilbert Brown; and one sister, Corene Blankenship.
