Junior varsity Cowboys tangle with Wildcats

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com On Monday, Feb. 26, the Madison County High School (MCHS) junior varsity Cowboys hosted the junior varsity Wildcats of Valdosta High School, from Valdosta, Ga. The Cowboys gave up four runs in the top of the second inning, then spent the rest of the evening attempting to play “catch up” with the visiting Wildcats. In the end, it was the Wildcats who emerged on top, 7-4. Chad Mitchell went one-for-two at the plate, with one run batted in (RBI)
