On Thursday, April 9, the JV Cowboys played Florida High and won, 6-3. They took the lead in the first with two runs on an RBI single by Dylan Bass. Bass would headline the rest of the game, going 3-3, doubling in the third inning and singling in the first and fourth innings. On the mound, Bass struck out eleven, allowing one earned run, two hits and three walks over five innings. The JV Cowboys continued to succeed in the fourth by accumulating a whopping four runs. Charlie Blanton scored on an error, followed by Bass's single, bringing home Jarrett Briggs and John Flournoy. Noteworthy players include Jarrett Briggs, who went 3-1, accumulating one single and scoring one run and Dylan Bass, who went a perfect 3-3, accumulating two singles, one double and two RBIs. In fact, Bass went 43-16 for the season, with 14 singles, one double, one triple, 15 RBIs, 12 runs scored and a batting average of .372. The JV Cowboys ended their season, 6-7-1.
