In one of their final home games of the season, on Monday, April 10, the Madison County High School (MCHS) junior varsity (JV) Cowboys took full advantage of 14 base hits and a team batting average of .560 to completely dominate the junior varsity Trojans of Hamilton County High School, 23-4. The Cowboys added five more runs in the second and five in the third inning to add to their commanding lead. After holding the Trojans scoreless in the top of the fourth inning, the men in blue decided enough was enough and the game was called.
