Kendal David Johnson, 43, of Tallahassee, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021. Funeral services were at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Madison County High School Football stadium. Viewing-visitation was from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, at Shiloh M.B. Church, in Greenville. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery, in Madison. TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO, (850) 997-5553, served the Johnson family. Kendal was a star athlete. He played football at FAMU and taught and coached at Havana Middle School. Currently, he worked at Tallahassee's Griffin Middle School. He was a member of Shiloh. Survivors include his daughters, Daisha and Kendalyn Johnson; son, Christian Johnson; parents, David and Gwen Cobb Johnson; granddaughter, A'Nyla Williams; brothers, Shedrick and Bryce Johnson; step-grandmother, Glen Cobb; and a host of other relatives and friends.
