“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." Psalm 23:1
Kenneth Ellis Ayash, the pride and joy of Abraham Ayash and Elizabeth Celeste Voyles Ayash Smith, was born on Aug. 14, 1952. He lived most of his life in North Ga. but became a resident of the Perry (Taylor County) community several years ago. Both of his parents and his sister, Laura Ayash, preceded him in death.
Kenneth Ayash loved his family and enjoyed the wonderful times they shared. He was a “people person” with many friends he kept laughing with his humor and entertained with his guitar playing. Kenneth was a talented guitarist who had the opportunity to play with the Grand Ole Opry in Ga. He was also a Jimmy Buffet fan.
For 24 years, Kenneth was employed as a trainer with Sara Lee (Desserts) and Anheuser-Bush Brewery. Although he focused on industrial maintenance, he had an intense curiosity and a passion for figuring out how electrical things worked.
Kenneth was a member of Parrot Heads, of Perry, Fla.
Kenneth Ellis Ayash, surrounded by his loved ones, quietly departed this life on Monday, May 23, 2022. His life will be remembered for the love he had for his family, the joy he brought to others, and the impact he made on every life he touched.
Those who will cherish the life, love, and legacy of Kenneth Ellis Ayash are his devoted and loving wife of 44 years, Marian Sands Ayash of Perry, Fla.; daughters: Katie Hope Cates of Summerville, Ga., Ella Rose (Roger) Perry of Decatur, Ga., and Cynthia (Charles) Matthews of Perry, Fla.; and four grandchildren; together with many other sorrowing relatives and supportive friends.
