Kimberly Graham Belford, 60, of Tallahassee unexpectedly passed on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, in the Old West Enrichment Center, with burial in Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Viewing-visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27 at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE, (850) 942-1950.
A Quincy native, Belford was a graduate of Shanks High School and earned her Bachelor's from Florida State University. She had also completed coursework towards her Master's degree. She had been an educator for 35 years before retiring. For the past year, she taught at Shanks Middle School. Kim was a lifelong member of St. James AME Church, Quincy and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Belford; son, Jason (Tessa) Brooks; stepchildren, Steven Jr. and Brittany Belford; grandchildren, Jaden Brooks and Jaslyene Belford; sisters: Beverly Miller, Barbara (Johnny) Hinson and Sandra Graham and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
