On Tuesday, Feb. 21, the Lady Broncos of Madison County Central School took on crosstown rivals the Lady Panthers of the Madison Creative Arts Academy. By the end of the final inning, the Lady Broncos had chalked up a 7-3 victory.
The Lady Panthers took an early lead, scoring one run in the top of the first inning. It did not take long for the Lady Broncos to take charge, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first. The Lady Broncos expanded their lead, scoring one run in the third inning before running up four runs in the fourth inning. A late two-run rally in the top of the sixth by the Lady Panthers was not enough to overcome the Lady Broncos.
