Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 marks the dates for Lee Homecoming Days.
The two-day event will be bursting with various fun activities for all ages.
On March 18, the event for the day will last from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and individuals can participate in the Deep South Steam Engine Club Trade Show, the pinewood derby car race (open for ages four to 99) from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and the pedal tractor pull (for ages four to 13) from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
On March 19, the event opens early at 8 a.m and will last until 5 p.m.
The Deep South Steam Engine Club trade show will be ongoing through both events and Saturday's activities will start with a 7:30 a.m. pancake breakfast cooked by the Lee Methodist Church. There will be a parade at 10 a.m. (line up will begin at 9:30 a.m.) and a cake auction will take place at 11 a.m.
Pinewood derby finals will be held at 12 p.m. followed by awards at 1 p.m.
Throughout the event, there will be several vendors with food and arts and craft. There will also be a quilt show, live entertainment by the Trinity River Band and a children’s art display.
