Lee Homecoming Day is set for this weekend. The events will begin Friday, March 20 from 4-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Lee Homecoming Day Committee says there will be over 30 vendors for Friday and Saturday. On Friday, there will be a Deep South Steam Engine Club trade show, bounce houses and live music. The Miss Lee pageant coronation will begin at 5:30 p.m. The pinewood derby car race (minimum age of four/no maximum age) and the pedal tractor pull (age 4-13) will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The pine wood derby finals will be Saturday, March 21 at 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. On Saturday, the day will start with the Lee Methodist pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. Lee Homecoming Day will start at 8 a.m. with plenty of events for the family. There will be a Deep South Steam Engine Club trade show, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, quilt show, live entertainment, bounce houses, pine wood derby finals, live entertainment and a cake walk.
