Leon County Courthouse renamed in Aikens’ honor

Aikens, Jr. After serving as an attorney for 49 and a half years and 27 years as a county judge in Leon County, Aikens was honored with a retirement ceremony, which included a dedication of the newly-named Judge Augustus D.
