A short time ago there was an article on the “Spirit of Madison” monoplane in honor of Lindbergh’s 1927 New York to Paris flight. B.D. Wadsworth built this plane and drove it to Jacksonville for the parade. B.D. was my uncle and was married to my aunt, Kathryn Stanley Wadsworth. They were a wonderful couple and lived in Jacksonville Beach for many years. They are buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville along with my parents and grandparents. That is the rest of the story.
