Lillie Mae Feacher Williams was born on June 2, 1940, in Monticello, Fla. She was the fifth born of 10 children to the late Anthony Feacher, Sr. and the late Ellen Cuyler Feacher.
Lillie was formerly educated in Madison, Fla., where she attended Madison County Training School, graduating with honors and leaving home to attend Suwannee River Junior College. While a student at Suwannee River College, Lillie met her husband of 54 years, Charlie Williams, Sr. The two became sweethearts and were married on June 12, 1960, in Lee, Fla.
After their marriage, the couple moved to Miami, Fla., where they resided for more than 40 years to return back to Lee, Fla., as a retired couple until death. From this union, they were blessed with two children, Pamela Delisa and Charlie, Jr. and five grandchildren.

On Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 8:41 a.m. Lillie's earthly presence ended at South Georgia Medical Center Hospital. She will be remembered for her passion for life with her husband and two children, her words of wisdom, her responsiveness to jumping in to help support her family and friends, her courage and her "Don't Let Me Get Lillie Mae” attitude of honesty not to make excuses by soft coating the truth.
Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, July 2, at 1 p.m. The church is located at 221 SW Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Madison. Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery, located at 330 NE Lantana Street in Lee. In lieu of flowers, Lillie asked that a college benefit fundraiser be created for The United Negro College Fund.
