Linda Jeanette Key McDaniel, 71, passed away on Aug. 13, 2021, in Lake Park, Ga. She was born on May 6, 1950, in Moultrie, Ga, to Vernon O. and Margaret Jeanette (Wilson) Key.
Linda was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Monticello, Fla. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and working jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Tony Key; and sister, Vernette Davidson. Survivors include her husband, James McDaniel; daughters, Lindsey Washington (Steve), of Pinetta, Fla. and Kellee Fletcher (Mark), of Valdosta, Ga.; brothers, Dennis Key and Vernie Key (Lynn), both of Monticello; sister, Dot Pitts (Donnie), of Monticello; five grandchildren: Abby, Luke and Haylee Washington; Emma Fletcher and Savannah Fletcher Moore (Christian); one great-grandchild, Sutton Moore; and Linda’s mother.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17 at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, Fla. Arrangements by Beggs Funeral Home, 485 E. Dogwood St., in Monticello.
