On Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Madison Lions Club presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to the Residing Hope Madison Youth Ranch, in order to help with their upcoming 10th Anniversary Celebration coming up next month. The club had originally pledged $500, then individual club members chipped in, bringing the total to $1,000. The 10th Anniversary Celebration is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Madison Youth Ranch, located at 1647 N.E. Captain Buie Rd., in Pinetta. The Madison Lions Club is Madison’s longest serving service club. The local organization has a long history of serving the community through educational support, the annual God and Country Fourth of July celebration, holiday food boxes for needy families and much more. They have their meetings each Tuesday at 12 p.m., at Cucinella’s Brick Oven Pizzeria, located at 201 SW Rutledge St., in Madison.
