Although she has been a member of the gospel band LifeSong for many years, Jessica Ratliff just got the chance to do her own solo album, complete with original songs that she's written over a 10 year span.
Ratliff is a 2007 graduate of Madison County High School and is married to Jimbo Ratliff. Together they have two children: Emery, age five and Wyatt, age two. She is the daughter of Troy and Karen Pickles of Madison and the granddaughter of Leo and Laredo Pickles and Joe and Faye Todd, all of Madison. She is also the great-granddaughter of Joe Todd, Sr., who also resides in Madison.
To celebrate this joyous achievement, on Saturday, April 9, the community is invited to Ratliff's album release and listening party at Grace Presbyterian Church. Those who attend will be able to enjoy singing from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. A complimentary chicken-and-rice dinner will follow after the performance.
At the event, CDs will be available for purchase for $10.
Grace Presbyterian Church is located at 688 N. Washington Ave. in Madison. For more information or to RSVP, contact Jessica Ratliff at (850) 253-5242.
