Robert Ledford, pastor of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church (LMBC) recently returned from a mission trip to Columbia, South America. There the church supports two missionaries, Gilberto Pinzon and Julio Mendoza.
During the mission trip, Ledford preached daily for nine days, in five different cities and at eight different churches. “We did a lot of traveling with about 12 hours of driving between the two most distant cities. We were blessed with some people receiving Christ as their Savior,” said Ledford.
Ledford attended a church celebration where four brothers were opening a church in the Columbian city of Yopal. The pastors and leaders of churches from five cities of Columbia joined together to give God glory at the church, during the celebration. At the service, visible results were seen of how God was working, with three professions of faith and six candidates for baptism. Those leaders sent back a special thanks of gratitude to Ledford and the members of LMBC, for all their support.
They ended their campaign in the Columbian city of Casarea in Monterrey, where Bro. Julio Mendoza pastors. Ledford visits this missionary once a year with a week long revival.
