On Thursday, April 13, Madison County Farm Bureau, with the help of Full Circle Dairy and Farm Credit had the chance to go out to Madison Creative Arts Academy and read for Ag- Literacy Day. The volunteer readers were Ginny Paarlberg, Madison County Farm Bureau Women’s Chair; Lindsey Lawson, Madison County Farm Bureau Staff and Rachel and Philip Watts, with Full Circle Dairy and Farm Credit. The volunteer readers read to students from kindergarten through fourth grade and the students loved it. The book that was read was "Moovers, Shakers and Milk Makers,” written by Jennifer Morgenthal. The students learned about many things including the importance of dairy animals and operations and what important roles they play.
