Sue Chamblin Frederick's words paint a poignant picture drawn from the memories she has of her grandfather's general store in Pinetta. These memories come to life in her latest book, The Front Porch Sisters, due to be released in Oct.
The Front Porch Sisters is the seventh novel penned by Frederick. Her other works include: The Boarding House, Madame Delafloté Impeccable Spy, The Incredible, Grandma Takes a Lover, Eversweet and The Unwilling Spy.
The Front Porch Sisters was written with the assistance of Dale Gibson, a local Pinetta resident. Gibson provided much of the historical context for Frederick's latest novel, which is set in Pinetta. “I'm hoping you'll come along with me while I go back in time to one of the sweetest places on earth-Madison County,” said Frederick.
A book signing is planned at the Madison Public Library when the book is released. More information about Frederick's books, as well as a sneak peek at The Front Porch Sisters can be found at www.suechamblinfrederick.com.
