Local church honors pastor

Zion African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church held a celebration ceremony and dinner in honor of 24 years of ministry from their pastor, Charles Wesley Evans, Sr. Many church members, family members and friends gathered at the Madison County Senior Citizens Center for the special occasion. Several took advantage of the opportunity to express their thanks to Rev. Evans and his wife, Margie Evans
