On Tuesday, March 9, the Madison 4-H Club planted flowers, greenery and trees in the plots outside of the Madison County Courthouse. The planting is already complete, and Madison County Clerk of Court Billy Washington is wrapping things up by placing pine straw down on the beds. The club is making sure to continue watering the plants to aid in their adjustment to the new soil, as well as their continued growth. They planted yellow bush daises, crepe myrtles, agapanthus, shillings and flax lilies.
The plants were supplied by the Madison Garden Club and soil was donated by Ace Hardware and Studstill Lumber, Inc.
