Madison Church of God will be recognizing Bishop Jason Justus on Sunday April 25, during the church’s morning worship service. Pastor Justus, most commonly called Jason, was initially called into the ministry as a youth pastor in 1998, at the Church of God in Lacoochee, Fla. and now serves as the lead pastor of Madison Church of God. After serving as lead pastor for South Church of God, in Red Level, Ala. and Breakthrough Church of God, in Sylvania, Ala., Jason came to Madison Church of God as lead pastor on February 5, 2014. Pastor Justus loves Madison and Madison County, while standing firm on his mission of “R.I.C.H.” – Reaching the lost, Investing in families, Changing the world, one person at a time and Helping the hurting.
Since his arrival, Madison Church of God has grown spiritually as well as in the community. Under his leadership, the Family Life Center was built, Children’s Day Camps have been held each summer, Upward Basketball League was started and the church’s production, “The Madison Passion Play” just completed its eighth year. These are just a few of the events used to reach the lost and glorify God. Jason and his wife, Amber, have five children: Peyton, Makenzie, Emmalee, Josiah and Madison.
Everyone is welcome to join us as we recognize Pastor Justus and celebrate his day. The church is located at 771 NE Colin Kelly Hwy., in Madison.
