The Madison County Boys Choir was founded by its present conductors, Daniel Graham and Desmond Roberson in 2013. The choir performs locally and nationally and has traveled extensively in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina. The Choir is a unique, nonprofit, community outreach program for males ages six and up. The Madison County Boys Choir provides young men a safe and supportive environment which fosters the growth of their academic and social skills. As a member of the Madison County Boys Choir, they are charged to breathe music that is biblically based, Christ-centered and Holy Spirit guided. Essentially, those who lead the boys choir strive to help these young men envision a brighter future, while realizing their full potential by building character, enhancing self-esteem and promoting academic success.
On that note, the Madison County Boys Choir would like to say "thank you" to their community for supporting them in their endeavor to Atlanta. From the car washes, to the fish fry, and the personal donations, they were all greatly appreciated.
The Madison County Boys Choir performed at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Ga. on Sunday, June 19. During their visit, they were able to meet Christine King Farris, the eldest and only living sibling of the late Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Madison Boys Choir will be traveling to South Carolina the weekend of July 22-24 for a singing event at Greater Faith Baptist Church, as well as some college tours. They are giving an open invitation to students who would like to partake in the college tours. There is a $100 fee for anyone who would like to attend this event.
