Kimberly Davis, of Lake Park but employed by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 13, at approximately 5:30 p.m. by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.
According to reports, Davis was traveling on Madison Hwy (aka Valdosta Hwy) when she was stopped by a Lowndes County Sheriff’s Deputy. She was found to have 0.3 grams of crystal meth in her possession. She was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Davis, who works as a Madison County Dispatcher, contacted Under Sheriff Epp Richardson, at approximately 6:30 p.m., to advise him that she would not be reporting to work as scheduled because she was being arrested by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office. In accordance with Policy and Procedure, Davis was immediately suspended pending an administrative investigation into the unbecoming conduct.
She remained in the Lowndes County Jail at press time.
